We have been spending time with one of my brothers and sisters-in-law the last few days. Today was my first day off to be able to share a full day with them. They are out here visiting with us for a week or two. We’ll be living in the same town soon and this has been a fun preview of what it will be like.
It’s such a joyful, exciting, and relaxing time. We’ve made some wonderful new memories and shared a lot of laughter, along with stories of times past. We introduced them to friends and family members of ours they haven’t met before and shown them around Southern California.
We are looking forward to reuniting with other friends and family members in Arkansas soon and establishing ourselves there. Each place God has taken us has been a blessing and given us so many precious friends and memories. It’s so hard to leave a place that has been called home, but we’ve always followed God and our hearts. He always gives us a new home. For this Arkansas native, it will be a full circle back to home.
