There are an over-abundance of temptations in our daily lives. All you have to do is turn on the television and look at today’s shows or watch the commercials or even drive down the highway and look at billboards. The people behind these know what draws you in and sells their product or idea, whether it is good, bad, or ugly.
We are all tempted without exception and their is no sin in being tempted. The sin comes in how you react to the temptation. Do you yield to it or do you flee from it? Temptation never comes from God and he will never allow it to be more than you can overcome. When you feel tempted to do something wrong, pray to him and he will show you a way out. That is how you keep your way pure and never give in to temptations.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT) - “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”
