One thing I’ve always known that this wonderful trip has reinforced is that time cannot be replaced. It’s like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. It marches on whether you want it to or not.
I have cherished each and every moment, every game we’ve played, each lap around the lake with my granddaughters, and all the laughter and joy that comes with spending time with family. My heart breaks that I have to go home tomorrow, but my resolve to return is even greater now.
This feels great and my family is so precious to me. I have the greatest appreciation for what I have and I’m thankful for God’s abundant blessings. He is Lord over my future and my hopes and plans!
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) - “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
