We Move On

Tragedies like yesterday’s news of Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash are going to hit unexpectedly. We’re going to lose loved ones. Unfortunately it’s all a part of life here on earth. We suffer the emotional blows and the trauma that comes with these losses. But we move on.

When we are beaten, crushed, persecuted, and knocked to our knees, the devil looks at the dust cloud left over from your battle and stands there grinning, relishing in his “victory”. But when the dust settles and he sees you lift your head, hears you say “amen”, and rise from your knees, standing tall and strong, he begins to tremble. Jesus is with you as you move forward, having been strengthened by your battle and your faith still in tact.

Keep your faith strong by staying in God’s Word so that you will be prepared for any battle that comes your way. Live your life in alignment with his will so that you stay in position to receive his blessings and protection. Put on the full armor of God (see Ephesians 6) so that you will be able to withstand the attacks of the enemy. When attacks do come, pray first, stand firm on your faith, and move on!

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (TPT) - “Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.”
