Leap Forward or Fall Backwards

Sometimes there is a fine line between which move I want to make. Do you ever have those moments? That’s when I have to decide whether my indecision is because God is holding me back or if it’s my own fears. We occasionally talk ourselves out of a blessing because we think either it’s too good to be true or we don’t deserve it. Other times, it’s the fear of something new or unknown.

God will open doors for you that no man can shut, so if the enemy is throwing stumbling blocks in your way, you need to leap forward and go through that door. If God has closed the door, then you need to fall back and not attempt to go through it because the enemy may be waiting on the other side. As you grow and mature in your faith, you will learn to recognize the difference.

I have come across situations where I truly did not know what God’s will for me was and I knew that he would bless me in whatever decision I made. That’s when I come to those leap forward or fall backwards indecisive moments and I have to sort out the source of my indecision. But in all cases we should seek the will of God above all else. When we do that we put ourselves in a position to be blessed!

Proverbs 3:6 (NLT) - “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
