Be Prepared!

I’m not talking about the Coronavirus. I have no idea what day or time it will be, but one of two events will happen that we all need to be prepared for. At some point we will all die, or Jesus will return. We have no way of knowing which event will occur first, so we need to be prepared.

If only people would flood the churches the way they are flooding the stores for emergency supplies, think of the revival that would take place. Why are we in fear of losing our lives to a physical attack and so unconcerned about our spiritual well-being? Take care of your soul and your body. Cast aside the fear that is sweeping the world. Use the wisdom and common sense that God has given you to overcome panic and anxiety.

Instead, choose peace and joy that comes from living in the Master’s care. It’s all in His hands and He is watching over you and your family. Pray for the President and our government leaders to get us through this crisis and it will pass soon. We will weather this storm just as we always do because God’s people are praying. Remember always to guard your heart and your soul. Be prepared!

Philippians 4:5-7 (NLT) - “Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
