We had two recent hail storms in our area. I was jolted from a deep sleep two nights ago by a hail warning and it wasn’t long before I heard it pelting my house. Yesterday the alarms went off again but nothing happened at my immediate location. I saw reports of golf ball and baseball sized hail nearby that damaged cars and roofs.
Hail can be extremely destructive and potentially deadly so never ignore the warnings. The velocity of huge balls of ice falling from the sky makes them deadly weapons that slam into whatever is in their path. To be forewarned and ignore the warning is foolish and could cost you your life.
God warns us of the dangers of sin and disobedience. We often ignore and dismiss His warnings thinking that there will be no punishment. That is a grave mistake to make and has eternal consequences. Listen to God’s voice, read His word, and walk in obedience to His will.
Nahum 1:7 (NLT) - “The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.”
