I am always amazed at how unique and different we all are. Even identical twins have slight differences. It’s mind blowing that, out of all the billions of people in the world, no two are exactly the same.
Then consider all of our internal differences such as our personalities, likes and dislikes, beliefs, desires, etc. Our various races, cultures, and creeds further highlight our differences. We were given the ability to communicate but we often fail at it, which helps explain why we are so divided.
The one thing we all have in common is that we have a soul and the need for a Savior. Instead of being filled with hatred and divisiveness we should love one another and live together in unity as the body of Christ. We are so different because we were uniquely and wonderfully made in His image. Love your brothers and sisters who were also created by God.
Ephesians 4:2-6 (NLT) - “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.”
