Church Unity

We have so many different denominations and churches. There are infinite reasons for this, which I will not go into today, but it is sad that it causes divisions in the body of Christ as a whole. We need to break down these walls that divide us and focus on the common ground we share. The world, and society in general, is greatly divided and we need to be unified in sharing the love of God in the midst of it all.

Jesus Christ, and him crucified, is the central core of our common message. We have all been given the same Great Commission and the same charge to love one another. We need to set aside our differences and spread the Gospel to our communities. We are not in competition to be the largest or greatest. We should only be God's vessels to share his Word and spread his love.

So, let's spend our time and energy in reaching the lost together, not in arguing with each other over doctrinal, or even worse, political issues!

1 Corinthians 1:10 (TPT) - "I urge you, my brothers and sisters, for the sake of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree to live in unity with one another and put to rest any division that attempts to tear you apart. Be restored as one united body living in perfect harmony. Form a consistent choreography among yourselves, having a common perspective with shared values."
