Don’t you just love holiday travel planning? I don’t! This year in particular seems to be a moving target. We have two destinations to plan for and a side trip thrown into the mix, plus selling one house and getting another ready to sell. We have things to pack, things to sell, and things to give away.
There are so many things out there that will try to steal your joy and take away your happiness if you let them. It is definitely a choice you have to make. Do not let your circumstances control the way you react to what life throws at you.
I will certainly be relying on that supernatural peace of God that surpasses all understanding to get me through this. In spite of all the topsy turvy turmoil going on, I will not allow any of this to spoil my excitement and anticipation of having a great holiday season this year. I cannot wait to see my family and friends that I haven’t been able to see in almost a year.
We will push through all the mess and confusion of the moment and reap the reward that comes with spending time with our loved ones as we celebrate Christmas together and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season! But first… Thanksgiving Day in two days ya’ll!
Proverbs 16:9 (NLT) - “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.”
