Now is the time for the church to unite as one body and one voice. It’s time to set aside denominational walls and unify in the name of Christ, our common ground, and share his love with the world. Can you imagine the impact that would have on a society that is desperate for identity, truth, justice, and peace? We are a divided nation. We are right and they are wrong. My truth is all that matters. That is what society is focused on, not unity. The church can bring unity, but it must be unified in its goal and purpose.
The fields are ripe for the harvest and the body of Christ needs to focus on reaching the lost for the sake of the kingdom. Once the lost are found, they need to be discipled and taught, like a newborn child, how to live their new life with Christ, so they won’t return to their old way of living. Share Christ, share his love with the world, in whatever way you can. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Take this to heart and win the world for him, one person at a time. Now is the time!
Hebrews 12:1 (NLT) - “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
