We often pray for God to move mountains that are blocking our way. What are the mountains you need moved? They could be physical, spiritual, or emotional. How did they get there? They could be mountains of your own making or placed there by others. Our ultimate nemesis, the devil, could have placed them there to trip us up. None of this changes the fact that there are often mountains in front of us that need to be moved.
God tells us that we can move a mountain with faith as small as a mustard seed! Huge obstacles will fall when we have him on our side. Think about the story of David and Goliath. The entire Israelite army trembled before Goliath and yet David, who was small in stature and full of faith, went out and defeated the giant warrior.
Look right at your mountain, identify it and how it got there. Ask God, who is the mover of mountains, to go before you as you conquer it. Give him all the praise and glory as you see it cast aside and the path before you cleared so that you may walk freely and without fear or hindrance.
Matthew 17:20 (NLT) - “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
