I was raised with the idea that a job worth doing was a job worth doing right. Don’t go halfway, finish the job. Go all in. These are the attributes employers are looking for when it comes to hiring or promotions.
Michael Jordan, Peyton Manning, and other professional athletes didn’t make it to the top of their sports by giving less than a 100 percent effort. They did not accept halfway. They went all in. You can go all in with whatever you do in your life.
God wants us to be all in when it comes to our commitment to Him. Keeping one foot in the world and one foot in Christ is going halfway and does not please God. Set your heart and affections wholly and completely on Him.
Colossians 3:1 (NIV) - “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
